The interface is great, but the program runs terribly. Cus after paying 165$ I expect quality, and runability. I am starting to get quite agitated on LW, and if there is no OBVIOUS solution to this, I will have to leave some bad reports about this program. It crashes from literatly any action at any given time, wheter it be a large or small process.
Trying to play the playback again, and the program also crashes. Pausing a playback, and the program crashes. It's as simple as trying to add a dissolver to the editing bar and the program crashes. LWs whites out and crashes on me ALL THE TIME! I only use one vid track, and one sound track, sometimes two and sometimes, very rarely I use fader effects. I do super simple edits on gameplay footage. I am using LW Pro, my specs are way stronger than the original posters computer specs, and my computer can barely run the program. I am experiencing a very similiar problem, or the same. Instead of making a new thread for the same topic I will use this one. I've noticed the problem happen mostly with one of my larger projects (7 video channels and 4 audio channels), but it has happened with other as well. I've upgraded to the most recent version of LW and of course restarted my computer etc. Of course I've experienced it here and there through the years but for whatever reason, in the past week or so I can barely edit for 10 minutes before I encounter a freeze (LW "unresponsive" and the page white's out type of thing) and have to force close it.
Hello, I've been a user of LW for years now and have never had a continuous freezing/crashing problem with the software.
